Things you need to know about LAUGHTER.
Laughter is the best medicine and there is some scientific evidence to support them.
A report by scientists at the University of Maryland in 2005, showed that blood flow increased by 22 per cent when participants laughed.
“It’s an injection of happy hormones into your body,” says Amanda Bate, co‑founder of the Laughter Network, who runs laughter sessions in Brighton.
“Your immune system is boosted by up to 40 per cent,” explains laughter therapist Julie Whitehead, whose work includes training staff at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Prolonged laughter has also been shown to lower blood pressure and improve mental function.
Not only does laughing release endorphins, but it reduces the stress hormones cortisol and epinephrine.
We have forgotten how to laugh, says Mikkelsen. "As adults, we only do it 15 times a day; as children, it’s 300. We need to bring those big belly laughs back into our lives."
So make out time to LAUGH today.

GRATITUDE or GRUMPINESS? You choose...
I once heard that ‘Gratitude ultimately affects our Attitude’. How true…When was the last time you slowed down to reflect on your blessings? Our society is so busy and we get so wrapped up in a day to day activities that we often don’t have enough time to reflect on our blessings. There so many things to be grateful for; the air that we breath, the roof over our head, the water that we drink, the family and friends that surrounds us and the list goes on.
Think about it!
When was the last time you thanked your spouse for paying the rent or for looking after your kids? When was the last time you encouraged a friend? When was the last time you said something nice to your boss or your staff?
Gratitude is good for all of us. Infact, studies shows when you intentionally cultivates GRATITUDE, it increases your happiness, optimism and level of energy. My point is; it makes you feel good too!
Everybody wants to feel good and appreciated. So, let’s unleash the GRATITUDE hunt today!
