Rahab was a Gentile woman who lived in the city of Jericho during the time of the Israelite conquest of Canaan. She is best known for her role in helping the Israelite spies escape from Jericho, and for her faith in God.

Rahab was a prostitute, but she was also a woman of great faith. She recognized the power of the God of the Israelites and she chose to side with them against her own people. Because of her faith, Rahab was spared when Jericho was destroyed and she and her family were allowed to live among the Israelites.

Rahab is an example of a Gentile who was welcomed into the community of believers because of her faith. She shows us that it is never too late to turn to God and that anyone can be saved by grace.
